Lol! I understand the sentiment. That was something that I really appreciated about this con. It seemed to me that it had such a wide variety of choices, as far as panels went, that chances are there was something for everyone to enjoy AND the discussions in the panels were talking about topics that we all deal with, as far as discrimination, acceptance and things like that, that anyone could get something out of it. :)

And I’ll actually be addressing the “geeky enough” question in my next post. :)

Great picture! I’m glad you had a good time. I would love to go to a con again. I used to go to anime conventions all the time. But I’m afraid I’ll end up feeling the same way that I did at those conventions: nerdy enough to want to go, but not quite nerdy enough to be there, lol.

That reminds me of a conversation Jim and I had the other day about “what’s is ‘geeky enough?’” Hm, I’ll have to remember to write about that in my blog sometime!

OMG!! Adorable!!! And so glad they handled it well! When we moved into our temp apartment in CO, our cats had the same issue: “WHERE IS UPSTAIRS?!”

That’s why I love the internet! I can be the me that my close friends know, without any soul-crushing anxiety! :D

And I am saddened by the people that are still in that same high school mentality. You gotta know they’re never gonna change. Sad, sad, sad.
